Isn't this depressing? It is the end of the year and every second chitchat is related to crises. Yes, yes, moi too is beyond bored and shows cross sign to economy topics but it seems that we can’t avoid them. Crises here, crises there. Is the crisis in fashion then?! Please people cheer up, it's not that we gonna wear uniforms. What if there are huge sales, what if some stores are closing. What if we don’t have IT bag this year? Don’t elide the bright stuff that happened this year. Reminisce! Who thought that our shoes would be inspired by Russel Crowe's fights in Gladiator? We finally saw SATC movie. We finally had rebirth of first lady fashion icon; Carla Bruni vs. Michelle Obama. Victoria Beckham with her sold out collection gave us proof that on the end she tells us what to wear. We had Vogue’s Italia Black Issue. We heart even more indie as new fashion expression, we wear boy pants. We still adore Kate Moss, we have beyond lovely IT girls (thought Britt leads with Peaches, Pixie, Daisy Lowe, Alexa Chung and Allice).
And still is go anywhere Kaiser Karl everywhere (to print his own face on a bag is what makes this man genius). We remember of Renaissance of luxurious Paris as answer to crisis in October. So don't think of crisis. We still have visionaries; we still have people that breathe fashion. We still have John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs, Olivier Theyskens, Alber Elbaz, Nicolas Ghesquière. We still have those whose silhouettes cannot be copied and ruined by mass stores (don’t get me wrong, Moi is huuuuge fan of topshop and I still cannot believe that I wrote this but it is true and no one would admit it).

Loveliest ITgirl in 2008

She was wearing Burberry at the age of 1. Now she is two so she is little more mature for flirt with Pucci. Her favorite shoes are Mary-Janes. She had the don't care bob way before Kate Moss. She knows how to make the princess wave with her hand. Did Kate make a major faux pas when she name her Suri? Is the real name of this little creature Jackie Cruise?

Some call her the child without friends. She doesn't have friends? OMG, she is hanging with Beckham team?! And according to pictures, Suri looks like she is not really that into little Romeo. He is cute but she doesn't have time for that. Girl has more important things to do in her life. Like get dressed.
You can think Tom and Kate are just two weirdoes but the saddest thing in the story is that she looks smarter than them both. Doesn't she make your heart melt? We love her. She is beyond lovely and adorable. Suri, because you are so smart and through few next months you’ll probably already be able to google yourself, misslikey is saying you: keep doing your thing girl, haters are just haters and they will remain haters. Anyone can get all dressed up and glamorous but is how people dress in their off days, that is most intriguing. We fell in love with Alexander Wang in 2007. Why are we still breathless?
a)Street with influence of Haute couture is beyond cool.
b)His ability of making grunge feminine and soft makes him genius.
c)The idea that tshirt and jeans can be just as sexy and stylish as an evening gown is just revolutionary cause of its simplicity.
His muses are his Lower East Side neighbor, model Erin Wasson, and girl we absolutely adored in 2008, new Britt princess charming Alice Dellal. Britt just can scent good things. Why Alex is a good boy? Because of his statement that woman can be size 4 and experiment with size 10. My closet sometimes confuses even myself with palette of sizes that are placed there. I think sometimes I could dress 12 year old kid and the big lady that works in my bakery. So I don't expect from anyone to understand my size diversity. And those times when I am tripping beyond on what size to buy and when shopgirls are looking at Moi like she is not a normal person, I just remember of Alexander’s quote. Never mind, they don't get the HANGING THING. And with his new pre fall 09 collection Alex has unquestionably justified this year CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund prize.

"Candy shop." Okay, Officially Moi’s becoming 50 cent. Don't prosecute me fifty, I'm not lil wayne. We are just shoppers. Window shoppers.
And in december window, cozy and warm sweater is very desirable item(my favourite is isle patterned) Reason? When you get tired of dressing (do we ever get tired of dressing?) just roll in your beauty and watch Christmas movies or make out with awfully cute boys. No, misslikey's not a pimp, Girl's gotta relax from time to time. That's all.
Our timeless inspiration for cozy winter outfits is Last Christmas video by Wham, still I'm trying hard not to get too carried away. Misslikey really don't wants to look like a second hand shopgirl. And for sure we don't want to look like on temporary work in Laponia and yes, we think Marc Darcy was awfully cute when he wore that sweater mum bought for him in first part of Bridget's diary.

Misslikey's Christmas shopping tip: avoid malls. Rather buy in small specialized shops. You’ll feel like Santa’s little helper. Malls are very passé. They are just like boys that are available to anyone.
Misslikey’s Christmas inside beauty tip: your role model isn’t Lindsay Lohan , still you'll experiment with liquor more than usual. Beyoooond applettinies are guilty if misslikey is not so rosy next morning. Confidentally, sip water with lemon slice. If you believe in Devil's wears prada, Anna does that. Is Anna ever wrong?!

FRINGES
Guys, if you are reading this, and I know you are (coz Misslikey told me)..., anyways, no matter how much you love fashion and are trying to be trendy, avoid this one as much as you can (unless you are a Marlboro man), or you will end up looking like you're playing cowboys and Indians.
Girls, you can. In fact, this season, you MUST! According to the world's trendsetters and latest designer campaigns, spotlight on Gucci please, fringes are soooo in. In fact, they are a must have. On jackets, dresses, and mostly on handbags, and what's best on – boots! Make sure to get a pair of suede fringed boots and you will wear them all winter long (ok, not when it's snowing, for their sake) and all the way through the spring. There are plenty of models to choose from – from the over knee to the ankle ones; flats or high heeled, in all shades.
According to Gucci, you should match your skinny jeans and the over the knee fringed boots. Lower boots should be paired with an etno dress, and don't forget a belt with studs. Queen Kate wears her fringed boots all year long, with skinny jeans during winter and shorts and bare legs during summer.
OK,THE BAG. Fringed bag goes with absolutely everything and IS appropriate to wear during the day and during night out. Anyways who cares what time of day it is when it comes to your favorite bag?! Suede or leather, they have crowded the stores ever since the Prada Napa Fringe Hobo from the spring/summer '07 collection. Even the classic Chanel bag got its own fringes this season.


The seventies' hippy look was the logical follow up after the sixties dresses that ruled runways last few years. In always shiny L.A., the Hollywood girls (read Nicole Ritchie) are wearing fringed gladiator sandals with flowered pattern dresses. For those who have to deal with cold – dare to wear long floral dress and match it with a fringed jacket.
Besides Gucci, fringes can be found in the newest Etro, Lanvin, Miu Miu collections, in fact it is harder to find a fringe free collection. Even Balmain has them, which is awfully surprising, yet great. Sienna 'the boho resurrectionist' Miller wore Balmain dress made of fringes alone to the premiere of her film The Edge of Love, and matched it with a black bowler hat. Some called it crazy, but I say it's a thin line between crazy and genius. As thin as a fringe.
I firmly believe that everything is allowed in love, war and fashion, still beware how you mix and match. If you've decided to go with fringes, leave your checked shirt at home or you will look as you just came back from tour d'Texas. Same goes for cowboy boots.
And remember – dose your fringes. You can wear fringed jacket, fringed bag and fringed boots, just not all at once or you'll be sentenced to 20 years of fashion jail. And they wear stone washed jeans and a matching shirt there!

Smart literature, smart movies, male hairstylists and gorgeous hair…le relation?!

Good friend of misslikey likes to say when somebody doesn’t understand fashion or chic Leave’em alone, they probably don’t read smart literature! Well, guess what, besides smart books there are also smart movies.
You probably thought that Miss Moss parties every night till dawn?! That is a major wrong answer. That girl also has a popcorns night! How misslikey knows?! Simply. Because when last year Kkkkatie put Scarface into her DVD player we heart her even more. Though we would probably adore her even if she has the bold phase like a Britney MadScissors Spears. Leave Brit to enjoy Sinead’O’Connor videos, lets talk about misslikey’s obsessions. From my point of view there are Four hair styles that every girl should know about and consider them as style lessons.

1.IN A MEMORY OF CAROLYN BESSETTE KENNEDY: ˝You wouldn't believe the dedication it takes to be a gorgeous, flaxen-haired, dermatologically perfect New York girl with a life that's fabulous beyond belief. Honestly, it all requires a level of commitment comparable to, say, learning Hebrew or quitting cigarettes.˝ You have read smart literature like Bergdorf Blondes?!
2.ANNY CLASSY..I would definitely go to hell if Anna Wintour is Lucifer that unlocks the doors. Cause the women has no doubts in herself obviously. And she never gets bored. Obviously. Obviously it is really possible.
3.WAVY HAIR ..We absolutely heart it for the last couple of years. We wear it smooth in the winter, messy in the summer. Worshiping Daria Werbovy. Why? Cause that girl was one of the first that started all waves era. Is it strange that she is French Vogue’s cherie?!
4.SCARFACE STORY from above and its impact as a smart movie that is not only for boys who are trying to get into the mafia but for the chic girls


Enough about them, let's talk about my hairdresser!
Misslikey has a very strange opinion that every girl deserves to have two boys in her life and they need to be awfully cute and loyal; dentist and hairstylist. And Misslikey is thankful to have them both. Since I fell in love in my hairstylist's hands he remained the only man who is allowed to touch my hair. And every time is like the first time. I get tingles attack. Hey, don’t be like that. I m not saying femme hairdressers are bad. But you are actually aware that She cannot be cute like Javier Bardem. Well. Now read carefully. Either you are a) hair bisexual b) hair straight you really need to put her/ him on the test. Reasons are the next
1.For those who had bad experiences from their past life : every time you get out of his hands your first reaction is that you just want to show THAT hair to all of THOSE horrible people that didn’t understand and tortured your head and you want really really scream at them.
2.Girl's gotta be practical; You didn’t see him/her for months and your hair still looks like: Enough about you, please let’s talk about my hair now
3.When he suggests something you just say whatever and you don’t have doubts in the meaning of that word
4.When you realize you really miss him. And your hair really hurts then
5.You think he has sacred hands

If you can relate to these statements misslikey congratulates you. You have found THE ONE. Don’t change him. Don't doubt. Don’t be stingy. Sale doesn’t count when it comes to your hair. What is more important except what you have in your head than what you have on your head?! Don’t let anyone persuades you in opposite cause you are the one that is going to walk out of the doors every morning with smile on the lips. Because we learned from previous experiences that can be easy tear in your eyes. Be stingy with the tissues not with you hair.
p.s. this last was a dedication to my hairstylist. I had to do that. Really really. Those who found THE ONE will understand me. I know they will.
I hope he won’t read this. Cause he might seek restraining order from court...so pssst cause we don’t want misslikey to end up in jail. Boys aren’t probably cute as in Prison Break
p.i.s.s. I was about to make post about hair for SS 09 in march but p.s reason constrained misslikey to make a decision.
