misslikey's trendy but classy; nude jumpsuit and printed dress

Misslikey decided to single out this month best dressed girls to show you how trend can be classic but still the trend. Working good two trends:

1. Nude jumpsuit
I am bored beyond with a trend of jumpsuits. Unless it's a nude one. Okay lets gossip a little. We lost our last hope with Orlando Bloom and Kanye West and we are totally heartbroken; Josh Harnett has a new girlfriend. I didn't find out her name cause misslikey is not gossip girl. But what I saw is that new Joshua's girl really has style. She is totally working out daily version of nude jumspsuit. In evening version similar jumpsuit wears lovely Russian model Anna Vyalitsyna. SIMPLE=LOVELY

2. Printed dress plus blazer
I am not really huge fan of prints but in combination with blazer its really beyond.
Kate Moss on topshop opening proved she is really best campaign ad for her clothes. Arlenis Sosa is one of the models who is not just a model but she has a good fashion eye

misslikey's princess

Did you think you are a princess when you were a little girl? I remember I used to pull my grandma curtains throught her house and pose in front of mirror with crystaled headband . Instead of dressing up the dolls, I used to dress up myself. I wanted to be all grown up and a princess; similar to Karl Lagerfled. And talking about His Heighness he totally enchanté us with chiffon dresses in his pretaporter summer collection.
This summer designers showed us lot of sheer and ruffles..and what kisses more ruffles than fine made fabric like chiffon. In pastel it's diviness. Though I was disappointed of not seeing baby blue or pastel blue in couture collections. So if you ever thought you are adopted and you belong to royal family you don't have to talk about that story with your terapeist anymore. Because those who we call the big ones are also dreaming about princesses and fairies.

Billie Jean wears a cropped top

This season we are absolutely crazy about acid washed and ripped denims, Balmain Balmain totally washed our brains and with reason. They are just gorgeous.
But is it just me or it's really a difference between acid washed jeans and snow washed jeans? Moi thinks snow washed are not all washed but they have small spots all over. And they look more less soft and certanly not low cut..more high waisted but not too much. Warn me if I am wrong!!

boy meets misslikey

Last weekend I was having a coffee break with my Californian friend and she absolutely amazed me with her outfit; plaid blue-long sleeves-cotton shirt with washed blue denims on flats, all spiced up with Chloé boyish haircut. You know what is Chloé haircut, right?

Oh gosh you must think this misslikey is total luser, plaids are awfully passé, pleaaaaase?! But see I was thinking more on navy plaids not channeling on Kurt Cobain.
Since my friend reminded me on one of the girls from Trovata's lookbooks which is always my office eye-mask, I picked Trovata's Solano Button-Down shirt as THE ITEM. Very lovely for preppy boyish but still femminine look we adore.

My cutest spring item are startas sneakers. I call them fusion between canvas and converse. I am total fan of white ones and proudly I can say startas are from misslikey's country. I think soon they will be available online and prices are really beyond low.

chic while out of town

We are in spring just few days and since moi and you are totally exhausted from winter it's time to be out of town for a weekends. Pack a few smart items in a chic travel bag or big tote and escape somewhere. It doesn't have to be house in Martha's Vineyard just go anywhere where you can be surrounded by nature. Organise something with your sweetheart, or friends. I know packing is always tres difficult but that's why you have misslikey. To learn from her mistakes

What to pack for harmony with nature weekend?
See i now last season Stella McCartney totally had impact on you to buy a floral dress. I'm sure you have it somewhere in your closet. This it the right time to get it out of your closet. I found some interesting items on polyvore that might be useful for packing.



Misslikey like Carrie believes you can get girl out of city but you can never get city out of her. When you get bored with inner peace take a break and escape to nearest town for a coffee break. Yes make sure you bring warm scarf with you, never know when will get cloudy. I fell in love with soft suede fringed flats from Charlotte Ronson. And Marc by Marc Jacobs mixed stripe jersey dress from net-a-porter is my one of my spring favorites.

When in nature smell natural. My favorite is floral fragrance Daisy by Marc Jacobs. MJ Said about it; Daisies don't smell, but I wanted to evoke the feeling that you get when you see them; happy and youthful..That's why probably it is my favorite. Cause I always try to remain petite beyond.
p.s. if you still can't talk anyone into chic nature getaway run all by yourself. Try in a charming way persuade your friend to lend you a weekend house.
p.i.s.s. you won't look weird even if you are alone.. you are in nature..you'll had time to sit on the porch and listen to awfully chic françois chansons.
