little cloth girl & moi

Looking back over the last few months, I’ve realized that Little Cloth Girl was really everyday flight from harsh reality and daily problems that I was managing by handling my needle. I adore Little Cloth Girl and all the pretty things from my little fabric. I’ve put so much love and attention in every single bag, so even if things don’t turn out as I hope, I will still be very proud of myself. At last, I am not a businessman. And I’ll tell you that it’s certainly great privilege if you are able to create from your heart. The biggest issue now appears to be listing items on my etsy shop, because I need photographer and my boyfriend is currently busy with his own projects. Should I find a new boyfriend photographer or I will learn to be patient? Oh sweet patience, you were never really good friend of mine.

p.s. photos are from last Saturday when I packed my suitcase and I exposed the secret world of Little Cloth Girl to curious passengers at local handmade fair here in my hometown. We embellished our booth with roses, some antique furniture and  prints of collages  I made for Audrey Grace. I survived the day with four coffees, pack of cigarettes and with the help of my friend. p.p.s. I realized that my sentences are kind of messy lately. I am experiencing terrible writer’s block :)

Lula Magazine #14

Issue #14 of our favorite magazine is finally out. From two covers I prefer one with Ondria Hardin although Kelly Mittendorf is stunning. Stunning is also Edie Campbell in editorial Be My Baby photographed by Jessie Lily Adams. Oh, we just needed some Pattie Boyd love. I feel more than a love when I see Josephine Skriver in That was my veil by Yelena Yemchuk. And lovely Amanda Nørgaard (yes, the same girl that inspired The Vaccines song Nørgaard) in Lula Loves. And Cara Delevingne pretty in pink in Love out of Lust….With Lula, there is always And...

SCANS VIA DEER LOLITA AND TFS

P.S. I've been an awful blogger lately :( not visiting my favorite blogs and commenting. But considering that I am blogging from 2008, seems I have to work from time to time ;) See you next week. Have a lovely weekend!

Rachel Antonoff  silky cream Tenn Tom dress  with three bows in a row reminds a bit on RA's so loved Tennessee dress; here
To be adored Sam silk tunic dress was one of my favorite pieces from last collection, floral print in blue with spots of red and organza collar are just too lovely; here
Kelsey Genna Picnic dress is reduced to half price because of the small blue mark on the back of it; here

Illustration file; Amy Borrell

Dear Reader,

Since I am one of the girls that will spend a day admiring illustrations and if you are familiar with my tumblr blog moi, polka dots & Beatles, you can see that I share there quite of lot illustrations that I like. Now, I want to start new series of posts here at misslikey dedicated to my favorite illustrators. I will start with Amy Borrell, one of my favorite illustrators. Most of you are familiar with Amy’s work since she and her blog Cake with Giants are true stars of blogosphere. This Melbourne based illustrator became my crush from the first time I saw her work in Frankie Magazine. Motives like animals, plants, planets, food and unusual characters colored with pale and wrapped up in sweet prettiness…you just can’t do anything but be amazed with this magical illustrated world.

collar and flowers

I adore this pearl collar I received from oasap. It found a perfect friend in my Liberty print ballerinas that I found last spring on Asos. Last week I tried to capture every little moment including plants and flowers that are embellishing our balcony this spring with my Smena. And yesterday by accident I opened the film before I did rewinding. I was yelling bit at myself, but now I am hoping for the bleach effect. I am just like a child sometimes...
