Illustration file; Loulou Androlia

Once upon a time, lovely Loulou used to make prettiest collars embroidered with stars and moons and finest bows and lingerie that only princesses wear.
Today, Loulou Loves You is still creating her floral headbands to wrap our heads with little sparkles that flowers spread. Except she is designer and Reiki healer, exceptional Loulou Androlia is also very talented illustrator that creates magic with her pen. Her drawings are cheerful, pretty and magical. Just like the life.
Loulou loves you, we seriously love you!

Label crush: Sally Scott

Autumn Winter 2012  from Sally Scott
When I saw this morning the post on amazing Drifter & the Gypsy featuring one of the past collections of Sally Scott, I was wondering how come I've never heard of it and I just had to found out who is this Sally Scott. I was assured it’s some new French label, but Sally Scott is label of Japanese clothing and textile designer Akira Minagawa who is well known for his clothing line Mina Perhonen. Sally is imaginary girl dressed up in perfect charming layered ensembles that are influenced by Nouvelle Vague. Except pieces look extremely well tailored, what made me to fall in love with Sally Scott are all the pretty prints and patterns that Minagawa is designing himself. And when the words of portrayal are chic librarians, 1960s new wave and romantic countryside girls, we are ready to fly to another continent.
Konnichiwa Sally Scott! (Unfortunately, there's no stockist in Europe or USA. *cry*)

Charlotte's Christmas

Charlotte Dellal, one of the world’s favorite shoemakers, has already won our hearts with her iconic Dolly shoes with gold platform and Kitty flats that turned hundreds of girls into a cat lovers. Charlotte’s factory never had a trouble with originality, so this time they decided to fashionably accessorize holiday season with the Christmas collection. Except that these festive pieces possess that signature old-Hollywood vibe of the label, they promise to reveal the fun side of its wearer. Classics are embellished with little bit of holiday joy; so Kitty flats are wrapped in glitter and red Dolly shoes are embellished with ankle straps encrusted with gold bells. And those Pandora clutches with velvet inserts in three different colors are just perfect addition for holiday parties. Are you ready for the dance floor?

All the pretty gifts from Young Republic

Today, when you think of indie design, you realize how much people had really changed on this matter. Finally, we started to think more about places we shop, which lead us to where it’s made or is it a part of fair trade issue. In this slowly but steady revolution, every day are more and more of those who aren’t afraid anymore to show and offer their hand- created ideas to the world. Despite the fact that Etsy is definitely a pioneer among the platforms for young artists, there are also many great other places that connect designers with their conscious shoppers.
One of these kind of platforms is also Young Republic, marketplace that offers thousands of pretty and unique designs from all over the world. Since they sent me their holiday gift guide, I decided to browse a little through designs offered there, and pick some holiday gift ideas on my own. I found so many pretty things, that it was almost impossible to squeeze them into holiday gift guide. Also I spotted few great labels such as wonderful Alice Nightingale with so many adorable dresses at affordable prices, Ozzy & Lulu that are create little paper wonders, and La Lilouche, vintage-inspired lingerie that comes all the way from India.
Find all these pretty little things on Young Republic, and if you are not sure yet where you will do your holiday shopping, better think twice.

Black and White World

James D Kelly’s diary has been in my bookmarks for ages and I believe I discovered it somewhere between my crushes on Valetine Fillol-Cordier and Annie Monroe. Except that black and white party world of James D Kelly is a secret door through which you can peek how our beloved Alexa, Tennessee, Valentine or Annie are having fun, you can see bunch of other fashionable crew. Tess Yoop, Paloma Faith, Jack Guinness, Tom Wooley, Irina Lazareanu, Holly Taylor, Edie Campbell, Suki Waterhouse, Dree Hemingway, Sharin Foo from The Raveonettes, Matthew Williamson, Faris Badwan (The Horrors), Yasmina Dexter are just few of them. This photography dairy that is inspiration in every way, makes you to put on your prettiest dress and grab your dancing shoes.
