Nadinoo's plays

Over the years, we have been testifying arise of the enormous number of handmade labels that were born in sleepless nights from one creative mind and sewing machine with the intention of creating proper garments that are ready to wear. There are really many of those who we unpretentiously admire, and the one that is at the top of my "women in making proper garments" admiration list is Nadia Izruna, brain and seamstress behind label Nadinoo. Her proper dresses wrap body in pretty silhouette and every collar, cuff or any ending always appears to be perfectly tidy and neat. Nadinoo had taken the short break lately because Nadia became a mother to cutest little girl named Lula and family together with sewing equipment is based in Cape Town these days. There, from its place under the sun, Nadinoo comes back again with a new playful collection named Play by numbers, inspired by a wet and miserable English summer and school girls who care about life that is full of fun. The fun is surely guaranteed when you are wrapped in a comfy Liberty Tana Lawn that Nadia has been working with the last couple of years. And we come to the conclusion that from all those that are playing the Liberty game, she is the one that does it excellent.

LOVE...Nadinoo for Anthropologie

One of our favorite designers, Nadia Izruna, who has shown an exquisite talent in creating of pretty and vintage inspired pieces of clothes over the last years, is one more designer to have Made in Kind collaboration with Anthropologie. Nadinoo's Made in Kind collection consisting of three dresses, two tops, trousers and bird print blouse, is inspired by crisp autumnal mornings in the English countryside. Charming prints of Nadinoo, feminine silhouette and affordable prices are guarantee that these limited edition designs will be sold out in a moment. So don’t wait too long, because these dresses would be such a great partner in these foggy and yellowish days when warm cup of tea and occasional outings to antique libraries make us happy.

Nadinoo Fleur's Blue Spinning teacup dress, made from Liberty tana lawn cotton, from last season's collection. This is probably my favorite Liberty print since I am so obsessed with blue-white vintage looking prints; here
Rachel Antonoff  silky cream Tenn Tom dress  with three bows in a row reminds a bit on RA's so loved Tennessee dress; here
To be adored Sam silk tunic dress was one of my favorite pieces from last collection, floral print in blue with spots of red and organza collar are just too lovely; here
Kelsey Genna Picnic dress is reduced to half price because of the small blue mark on the back of it; here

Can you hear the melody?

Love for Nadinoo

I started my love with Nadinoo about year or more ago but I never shared the love with my readers in a proper way. Before the discovering of Nadinoo label, I was reading the blog, written by designer Nadia. The patience of that girl, to take all of the lovely photos of making of clothes, fabrics, or studio where she works amazed me. You have to be a really determined person to do all those things and sew at the same time. It’s not a easiest thing in the world, with all the business duties, to maintain your dream and love. Dream and love are so obvious in the work of Nadia. Through girls Pixie, Fleur and Lula she enlivens the secret world of 60s by making the modern expression of the era using improved cuts and vibrant but subtle prints. What is better than the improved vintage that looks like from vintage store but is worn only by you? Specialties of Nadinoo house are definitely blouses and dresses that from season to season are keeping their basic- feminine and romantic vibe. For this summertime season Fleur, Lula and Pixie besides lovely printed blouses and dresses will also wear petite crop tops tied with large ribbons. Oh oh we completely understand the ribbons and the summertime breeze. And if you think about Nadinoo that’s so Orla Kiely meets TBA, that’s not offend but a great compliment.
